Llandovery, a small rural market town of historic importance, was given it's Royal Charter by Richard III in 1485.In 1985, on the 500th anniversary, the Royal Charter was granted by the Prince of Wales.
It is an ideal location for touring the Towy Valley, the coast and castles of Carmarthenshire and Gower Peninsular.

CWMGWYN FARM is situated on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and is approximately half an hours ride from the Black Mountain, making it an ideal base for walking, bird watching and fishing in the river Towy.
"The Heart of wales Railway Line" passes through Llandovery station, which has rail connections with Swansea and Shrewsbury.
Coastal resorts of Tenby and Aberystwyth are easily accesible by car.
Swansea and Cardiff are also within easy reach for shopping expeditions and sight seeing.
Cardiff International Airport is approximatlely 75 minutes away by car.
Fishguard Rosslaire Ferry is about a 90 minute journey.
